TEN11 Sports Car Is Inspired By Kite Boarding

Bentley Ten11 Futuristic CarTEN11 is an extreme sports car design proposal for Bentley. This project is collaboration between Miika Heikkinen and EXA (A company specializing on virtual air tunnel testing). The name TEN11 itself came from Bentley logo which has ten feathers on the left and eleven on the right side. This futuristic sports car is aimed to be a low emission vehicle with its 4 electric hub motors located in each wheels. Combined with the lightweight body structure, ecological materials, and low CDF will bring the emissions down.
The main idea of TEN11 design came from kite boarding. All elements related to kite boarding starting from: wind, water, nature, speed, and equipment are the main inspiration for this sports car design. In order to create a large luggage even when TEN11 is smaller than the current GT, Miika has combined the wheel hub technology with the traditional long bonnet design. It doesn’t look like a vicious sports car to me. It looks more like a luxurious sports car, maybe because all details in this car are based on feather/wing theme

Audi A9 Concept Starts The Competition In The New Created Luxury Sedan Segment

audi a9 design conceptThe Audi A9 is a futuristic proposal for a luxury sport sedan which, in Audi’s car fleet, will be positioned higher than the Audi A8 flagship and will be aimed at the luxury sedan segment which includes models such as Porsche Panamera and the Lamborghini Estoque Concept. The designer, Daniel Garcia, found his inspiration in the architectural designs of Santiago Calatrava’s buildings in “La Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias” meaning The City Of Arts And Sciences which can be found in Valencia, the designers hometown. This strong influence can be seen in the clean flowing lines of the vehicle and futuristic styling features. Calatrava’s buildings look like they come from 100 years in the future.
The A9 concept has amazing features and yet to be discovered revolutionary materials. The windscreen and roof are integrated into a single piece, created using an advanced nano-technology material, which features a self-repairing system and allows for adjustments in color and opacity. The bodywork adapts an electronic painting system which allows the owner to change the color at the touch of a button. Another interesting feature of this structure is that is deformable, meaning it provides greater protection for the passengers than a glass windscreen, in a collision. The proposed drive train is a hybrid setup which uses an internal combustion engine working in conjunction with 4 in-wheel electric motors. This concept is the key to future car design, manufacturing technology, safety standards and user experience.

Ben : The Small Eco-car With Big Personality

ben2Nowadays gadgets, objects and even vehicles have a very short lifespan, we always want more things and get them cheaper and faster. We don’t realize all the waste, garbage and pollution created by this behavior until we start suffering the consequences with the economical crisis and global warming.
The designer of this small eco-car named Ben, proposes with his MDes major project, a car that is more than just a mode of transport, more than something we use until is broken or exhausted. It’s meant to be an object with “personality” and its own identity. Not something we just use, but something to trust and to look after. The idea is to create a car that can be “adopted” as your pal or a member of your family, giving it even your surname.
Ben, with a smaller size than a Fiat 500 and space for 4 adults, is meant to be a fresh, urban small car. Also it’s gentle with the environment thanks to its 300V lithium-ion battery that powers the 2 Michelin active-wheel hub motors creating a combined engine with 81 horsepower.

A Childhood Passion Inspired Flavio Adriani To Imagine And Create A Lamborghini In An Eco-Friendly Way

lamborghini concept car4Flavio Adriani, the designer, created the Lamborghini Concept EV as a tribute to the man who changed everything about sportcars, Ferrucio Lamborghini. The design, the lines, the impact of the car derive from a beautiful, almost perfect combination of the Diablo and Gallardo. The concept is not just about passion for Lamborghini, it also is equipped with the latest technology regarding the drive train, pollution, energy saving and passenger safety. The car has an electric drive train, there are 4 electric engines in each of the 4 wheels. The energy this engine needs to operate is gathered with the solar panels placed over the engine compartment. These panels are V shaped, giving the car a more aggressive look, it’s like the whole car says: “Eat my dust!”. The designer also fitted a panel protecting passengers against low frequency radiation. This radiation comes from mobile phones, antennas and other wireless devices. These radiations have proven to be dangerous to human health bringing headaches, cancer and more.

For Flavio Adriani, the greatest challenge designing this electric Lamborghini was, how to bring the amazing sound of the engine that has been removed. The solution he found are wind

AMV-R : The Result Of Combining German And Italian Design Into A Supercar

amv-r concept4If you are wondering how much this costs or how long you have to wait for its creation and delivery, i have to say, unfortunately this exotic beauty is not a prototype, nor it’s planned for production. The AMV-R, as the designer by the name of Alexei Mikhailov named it, is an unusual combination of styles. I say it’s unusual, because the supercar has both Italian and German design. This furious raging beast, has been given the pure Italian jaw-dropping fluid almost organic design and the German sporty design lines, which not only emphasizes the overall quality of the car but also make it unique in every aspect of the way. AMV-R stands for Auto Motive Visual Racing, so speaking in automotive terms, it’s a proper supercar. Visually, the overall design makes even the people from Greenpeace wish they drive it at least one lap on any closed circuit. The carbon fiber body shell, the aluminum chassis and the alloy wheels equipped with racing tires make the AMV-R as light as a feather.

The rear of the car reminds us of the Zonda. The exhaust pipes are positioned in the middle of the rear bumper. The “R” in the name is not there just for the sake of it, it stands for racing. The car is powered by a twin turbo V10 engine, yes you read it correctly, a V10 capable of producing 850HP. Imagine you have a vehicle rages through cities, it’s been designed that can turn even statue heads, you’ll know it’s not just an ordinary car, it’s more than that, it’s a supercar.
Supercars are a unique breed of cars, designed and built to show the world it can be done. Fast, lightweight, superb, thrillseeking, incredible, are just some words associated to these jewels of engineering and motorsport. We humans are a breed that likes to drive fast, loves speed, and has the ability to change from calm and serious to an 8 years old boy, when a supercharged V8 or a twin turbo V10 passes by, in seconds. Supercars are designed to impress the driver and the viewer in every way possible. The AMV-R is one of them, it has all the ingredients for the perfect recipe, Italian styling and engineering and German performance and overall quality.
